Dr. Wesley Detwiler is a licensed Clinical Psychologist practicing in San Diego, Ca. Dr. Detwiler earned a dual PhD in Clinical/Industrial-Organizational Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) in San Diego. He completed his APA Residency at Citrus Health Network, Fl. There, Dr. Detwiler was part of a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals working in a lock-down treatment center for adolescents struggling with behavioral disorders including Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Mood Disorders and Substance Abuse. Dr. Detwiler went on to work as a staff Psychologist at Citrus’ Foster Care Plus program, where he provided onsite behavioral interventions for clients of the foster care program and their families.
Dr. Detwiler has a passion for working in the recovery community and has experienced first-hand, how instrumental recovery can be in changing one’s life. He brings with him extensive education and training in drug and alcohol counseling, as well as personal experience, to provide an integrated approach to recovery that incorporates mindfulness practices and holistic interventions rooted in the 12-Steps of AA.
